With a degree in journalism and two masters (including the prestigious Eurosport Masters in Sports Journalism) Marieta has an impressive proven track record as a hard-working and knowledgeable sports journalist and presenter.

 

New for 2024 - Marieta joined the Formula 1 broadcast team, hosting Track TV, F1TV interviews and the Fan Zone stage, in English and Spanish. She has also just been confirmed as presenter and pit-reporter on the prestigious F4 Spanish Championship feeder series, while continuing to lead FIM-Moto.TV's live coverage of the TrialGP World Championship for the second year.

In 2023 - Marieta took on the challenge of the famous Dakar Rally, becoming the first female voice on the daily English-language international highlights programme. She was also part of the launch of the pioneering new FIM-Moto.TV platform - as presenter and field reporter for their new live coverage of TrialGP. In 2022, Marieta was host and reporter for Ferrari Challenge Europe on Sky Sports F1. She also continues as presenter for ERA Championship - the pioneering new Electric Racing Academy #NextGenRacing. 

Host and pit reporter for Eurosport's flagship electric touring car series, PureETCR in their inaugural season, Marieta is well-known in the industry for her experience working in a wide variety of motorsports disciplines from FIM X-Trial World Championships to GT Racing.

During her eight full seasons working for Dorna on MotoGP, her insightful interviews with everyone from Valentino Rossi to Marc Marquez and beyond were syndicated to all international broadcasters: also making several in-depth documentaries with star riders.

 

Other credits include: presenter/pit-lane reporter for FIA World Touring Car Cup  (Eurosport), Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals, endurance events for both bikes and cars including 24hrs Barcelona, 8hrs Oschersleben, and hosting social media livestreams for World GP Bike Legends at Silverstone Classic, as well as prestigious virtual summits for BlackBook Motorsport.

 

She has interviewed some of the biggest names in the industry at different sports events, from Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez to Emanuelle Pirro, Jamie Chadwick, Mattias Ekström, Tony Cairoli, Carlos Sainz, Wayne Gardner, Freddie Spencer and many more.

 

Marieta is also sought-after as a presenter for live events – from championship launches to prize-giving gala ceremonies.

 

Long-time UK-resident, Marieta speaks four languages – English, Spanish, Catalan and Italian.
